There is hardly any historical place on earth which does not have any story of ghost associated with it. Even with the Edinburgh Castle you will hear stories of ghosts. One of the most popular one is that of the bagpiper. It is said that a series of tunnels were discovered under the Royal Mile. After its discovery, to know where it leads to, a bagpiper was sent in it. The bagpiper was playing the pipes and moving within the tunnels and the people followed the sound from over it. But after going some distance the sound stopped. Numerous search parties were then sent within the tunnels to find the boy but he could not be found.
